Open House Weekend attracts record numbers
It was a pleasure to open our doors again to clients and friends of Van den Hoven over the weekend of 17 and 18 June. The gorgeous weather, the motoryachts on display and our partners with their stands were the ingredients …
…for a successful mix that attracted well over 200 (!) visitors. Speaking of mixing, we also featured our first cocktail bar during the open house, where a professional bartender served delicious drinks and impressed us with a cool combination of flavours, as you can see in this video. Chef Lennart also showed off his skills, ensuring guests a constant stream of sumptuous snacks and bites.
On the boat front, there was a great deal of enthusiasm for the second Voyager 50 Coupe, the first Voyager 56 Flybridge and the fifth Executive 1700 Mk2. All three were well dressed for presentation to the crowds, resulting in follow-up meetings for each model. All in all, we can easily call this year’s open house the best yet and plan to serve up the same recipe next year.
To further enhance the value of our open day for visitors we invited various well-known A-brands to take part in the event. Companies such as Raymarine, Mastervolt, DMS Holland, Delta Marine, Hull Vane and Boot Electro were among those who showcased their products. We also welcomed a new partner this year with high-end women’s fashion brand Méa Méa featuring a wide array of colourful purses and shawls.
And now attention turns to the renowned Hiswa te Water event, which will take place in Lelystad from 30 August to 3 September 2023. Read more below about this next highlight on the boat show calendar.
