Sixth Executive 1700 mk2 sold!
Success story
The Van den Hoven Executive 1700 Mk2 currently under construction at our yard was sold to a new client in October. She will be the sixth yacht in the 1700 Mk2 fleet, reinforcing the widespread appeal of the design. The new owners have previously spent several years sailing a Boarnstream and are now ready to join the Van den Hoven family.
This latest Executive 1700 Mk2 is being finished entirely to the wishes of the proud new owners. Modifications made to the structure of this sixth model have created an additional 29 cm of interior beam, providing extra space to make the most of the salon layout. Yachting family
The cruising area for this latest jewel in the 1700 Mk2 crown will be the Dutch waterways. We are currently making further changes to meet the owners’ personal wishes and needs. These include adding a range of modern materials and colours to the interior along with a special metallic finish. The clients are a true yachting family who expect to make very frequent use of their new yacht. Their son Jan Julius even plans to live onboard as you can read in our interview later in this edition of Items.
