In response to the late cancellation of the Hiswa te Water 2021 exhibition due to Covid in September, we came up with the initiative to host our own show in Waspik…
Successful open day 2021
… on 4 September called Van den Hoven te Water 2021.
Thanks to the lovely weather and everyone’s last-minute effort to ensure the day went smoothly, the event was a great success. The visitor numbers were very impressive and we welcomed many familiar faces as well as lots of new ones. Everyone clearly enjoyed themselves and appreciated both the culinary delights and the show programme.
There was plenty to see for our guests with three stunning yachts at the quay – the Voyager 61, Executive 1850 & Executive 1700 Mk2, all with their enthusiastic owners onboard. It was the first chance for most visitors to see the Voyager 61 and we received a tremendous number of compliments. The yard also put the hull of the new Voyager 50 and the latest Executive 1700 Mk2 in the spotlight. The Voyager 50 was especially popular, and we had two serious meetings with interested visitors.
To ensure the show had a comprehensive programme we also invited a number of well-known A-brands in the watersport sector to join this spontaneous event. Companies that responded with enthusiasm included Raymarine, Mastervolt, DMS Holland, Hullvane, ASA Boot Electro and ARC Marine. All brought an extensive product portfolio to their stands to share with our guests.
As things stand, we expect to host a new edition of Van den Hoven te Water in 2022, especially since both the Voyager 50 and the Executive 1700 Mk2 were actually sold during this year’s Open Day.
