The huge interest in the Voyager series has already led to the Voyager 61 finding a new proud owner, and that…

…makes us very proud too. The clients were familiar faces who came to the yard last year as part of an exploratory tour of various leading Dutch yards to see where they wanted to buy their first yacht. Their tour led to them buying a ready-to-sail demo boat elsewhere which allowed them to immediately head onto the water.
Renewed introduction
During our later promotional tour with the Voyager 61 through the Netherlands (and what a beautiful country it is!) we ran into the same people in Hoorn. They took the chance to view, try out and compare the Voyager they had seen under construction at the yard in Waspik in 2020 with the final result, experiencing just how well the 61 performs in real life. Several months later, they realised that the Voyager 61 was actually exactly what they were looking for and the decision was quickly confirmed by the signing of a sales contract in November. The new owners are planning a series of adventures in the Netherlands, UK, Scandinavia and the Med, and having such a seaworthy yacht is essential to ensure optimal safety on the longer trips.
Naturally there were also specific requests that we were pleased to meet so that the upcoming sailing season can go exactly as they wish. The well-known designer Kitty van der Kamp has been brought in to customise the entire interior in accordance with their tastes. The yacht will also be equipped with a dual steering position that allows two people to sit there in complete comfort. In addition, this Voyager 61 will be repainted and complemented with a new table and chairs.
We wish the new owners a wonderful time onboard their new acquisition and many safe journeys!
