Introducing the Voyager 50 Coupé

The launch model in the Voyager 50 Coupé line was completed at the end of 2023 and has exceeded all expectations.

As well as being pleasing to the eye, superyacht designer René van der Velden has ensured the 50 Coupé performs superbly too. Her blend of elegance, space and comfort is perfectly in line with the character of the renowned Voyager series (more on which below). Sporty and stylish, the yacht would be equally at home on the British coastline and lakes as the French riviera, including waters with lower bridges. A single-level layout and low step make for easy accessibility, with the aft deck, saloon, galley and steering position on the same deck.

Superior comforts

As you’ll discover when you step onboard in Southampton, the Voyager 50 Coupé embraces a superior degree of detail and quality. The carpentry, furnishings, layout, installations, welding… Everything has been finished to the highest level. Moreover, sound levels remain low even at a speed of 22 knots, and there are no vibrations or other annoyances. The Voyager has been equipped with stabilisers that keep roll to an absolute minimum and this highly manoeuvrable boat is easy to sail, moor and operate.

Your tour

Other highlights to look out for on your tour of the Voyager 50 Coupé:

  • Spacious saloon with well-equipped galley,
  • Three cabins and one bathroom.
  • Comfortable seating and good-sized table on aft deck offering lounging/dining for six
  • Option to convert seating into large sunbed for two
  • Large stern storage space with electrically operated hatch to store bicycles etc.
  • Hydraulic swim platform that can accommodate tender of up to 3.85 m
  • Wide and safe gangways leading to sunbeds and seating area

All Voyagers are built in aluminium so the construction is exceptionally flexible. As you peruse the photos here and hopefully arrange a tour of the yacht at the British Motor Yacht Show, start imagining how you might fashion a 50 Coupé for you and your loved ones.

Dutch quality, Van den Hoven style

A renowned family-run yard based in the heart of the Netherlands, Van den Hoven was established in 1992. Since then, the company and its yachts have grown in size, style and sophistication. Our vessels are made in high-quality steel and aluminium, allowing us to integrate any particular needs that clients may have during construction. From the hull to the final finish, everything is carried out in-house. This offers you a great deal of flexibility while enabling the Van den Hoven family and workforce to consistently guarantee the highest quality.

Voyager ahoy

The fast-sailing Voyager semi-custom range on display in Southampton is seamlessly in line with Van den Hoven’s philosophy of providing lots of space, high standards of comfort and true sailing pleasure. In addition to the 50 Coupé, we also offer the Voyager 56 Fly, Voyager 61 Fly, Voyager 71 and Voyager 80. You can click on the links to explore more about each individual member of the line but what they all have in common is the assets of having top Dutch craftsmen building boats in aluminium.

Aluminium adds value

If you’re looking for a fast boat between 50-85 ft. she needs to be light in weight. Our aluminium hulls weigh up to 40% less than their composite equivalent and as much as 55% less than steel yachts. Aluminium yachts are also exceptionally durable, giving a lifespan of 50 years and a higher resale value. In addition to offering the ability to adapt countless aspects of your Voyager to individual preferences, aluminium has benefits in terms of strength, ease of repair/maintenance and more.

Where will you go?

Owning a fast Voyager means you can sail long distances in a shorter time. Circumnavigate the British Isles or head to the fjords of the Norwegian west coast. Take a tour of the Greek isles or explore the splendid and diverse coastline of the Mediterranean. Wherever you choose to cruise, you’ll do so in safety, comfort and style on a Van den Hoven Voyager.

We hope to meet you in Southampton
